Bangkok, Thailand | The UNIP UN Glory Award 2025 and Global Meet concluded grandly in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. As part of the World Peace Tour, the program was jointly organized by United Nature International Peace (UNIP) and Glory Media Nepal at the Princeton Hotel on September 1.
On this occasion, 12 distinguished individuals from various countries and 2 organizations were honored with international awards. Among them are In Business Administration Mr. Brajesh Kumar Jha, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Salt Trading Corporation Limited Nepal, in Tourism senior tourism entrepreneur Mr. Ram Prasad Sapkota- Nepal, in Social Service NRNA Global Leader Mr. Kumar Karki, Myanmar, in Hospitality Mr. Lal Singh Khadka-Cambodia, in Business entrepreneur and former President of Thai Nepali Society Ms. Bhawana Rai- Thailand, and institutionally, Salt Trading Corporation Limited in Corporate Category and UNIP Thailand Chapter in Social Category were honored.
Likewise, in Peace and Advocacy, UNIP International Coordinator and President of the Bangladesh Chapter Mr. Raju Shah, in International Relations, Dr. Srinivas Eluri-India, in Women Empowerment UNIP Worldwide Secretary General Dr. D. N. Jerina- Sri Lanka, in Environmental Engineering Environmental Engineer Mr. Hilol Ray- USA, in Health President of Chiropractic Medical Association Dr. Fusao Kitagawa - Japan, in Sports Management President of Libertas Avellino AssociationDr. Vincenzo Mancuso - Italy and in Literature Dr. Orlando Simiele- Italy, President of Global Writers AcademyMr. Bishwananda Sinha-India, poet Ms. Andrea Ensico Ruiz- Colombia and founder of zezabek Quotes and Poems Ms. Zezabek Marmark -Philippines were honored.
Similarly, in the Nepal category, Mr. Surendra Wagle in social Research, Ms. Suchita Kafle in Literature, Ms. Sumitra Thapa in Women Entrepreneurship, Ms. Sabitri Thapa Khanal in Social Service, Mr. Krishna Hari Aryal in Business Entrepreneurship, Mr. Ganga Bahadur Khadka in Business Leadership, Mr. Kumar Prasad Chaulagain in Media and Journalism, Mr. Suman Chimariya in Agro-based Industry, Mr. Dawa Gumbho Tamang in Politics and Local Governance, Mr. Chewang Dorje Tamang in Public Service, Mr. Hirakaji Maharjan in Multi-sector Contribution, Mr. Ashesh Kumar Budhathoki in Import-Export and Mr. Bibek Poudel in Employment were awarded.
Furthermore, 16 individuals who have been continuously contributing to peace and humanity were presented with International Peace Ambassador Certificates. They were declared International Peace Ambassadors with a one-year appointment. Among them are Ven. Dr. Raju Lama P. Kondan, Mr. Saroj Ojha, Mr. Ravi Raj Shahi, Ms. Dipika Rayamajhi, Mr. Deepak Chandra Gautam, Ms. Pabitra Bhandari, Mr. Hikmat Dahal, Mr. Bimal Kumar Bhattarai, Ms. Manju Shrestha, Mr. Harisharan Manandhar, Mr. Dip Prasad Dhamala, Mr. Moti Tamang, Mr. Bishnu Prasad Adhikari, Mr. Keshav Basnet, Ms. Nikita Shrestha, and Mr. Shivahari Khanal.
Speakers at the ceremony emphasized peace, unity, and cooperation. Deputy CEO of Salt Trading Corporation Mr. Brajesh Kumar Jha, Myanmar’s Mr. Kumar Karki, entrepreneur Ms. Bhawana Rai, tourism entrepreneur Mr. Ram Prasad Sapkota, chartered accountant Mr. Bibek Poudel, and people’s representative Mr. Dawa Gumbho Tamang stressed that the world must unite for peace.
Chairman of Glory Media, Mr. Saroj Ojha, remarked that art, culture, and media possess the power to transcend borders and play an important role in promoting world peace and prosperity.
Similarly, President of UNIP Bangladesh Chapter, Mr. Raju Shah, stated that this event see is a symbol of peace, unity, and international cooperation.
National President of UNIP Nepal Chapter, Ven. Dr. Raju Lama P. Kondan, said that social service and humanitarian work know no boundaries, and therefore peace practice must equally take place in all communities.
Likewise, President of UNIP Thailand, Prof. Dr. Sriwan Kingjun, praised Nepal’s important role in promoting world peace and extended her gratitude to the participants. Executive President of UNIP Nepal, Mr. Ravi Raj Shahi, delivered the welcome remarks, while Secretary General Mr. Deepak Chandra Gautam extended the vote of thanks.
At the program, classical dancer Engarat Shivammathevit performed a classical dance, and a documentary on Lord Buddha was also screened. The ceremony was attended by nearly one hundred peace leaders, human rights activists, diplomats, politicians, entrepreneurs, litterateurs, social leaders, and other distinguished guests.
